Kimo Kreis

Kimo Kreis trained for years under the direct instruction of Relson Gracie. He  gained a reputation as a skilled instructor while teaching at Relson Gracie's Main Academy in Honolulu. Using Relson Gracie's Jiu-Jitsu theory and instruction as the foundation for his own classes, Kimo brings a vast knowledge of what jiu-jitsu really is and what it is to be used for ... a safe way to practice street fighting. He is able to tailor his instruction, incorporating a variety of techniques that best benefit students with varying levels of skill and training objectives, from beginners seeking a good exercise program, to children who want to learn to protect themselves from the local school bully, to serious fighters who want to win their next match!

Brandon Gross

3rd Degree Brown Belt

Brandon started training Jiu-Jitsu shortly after graduating from high school in 2007. He is an active competitor in the local Jiu-Jitsu scene, senior member & kids/adults instructor of K-team Martial Arts Academy having earned the high rank of 3rd degree Brown Belt. 

A graduate of Castle High school in Kaneohe Brandon earned a degree in business administration from Hawaii Pacific University in 2011. He has a passion for coaching and also giving back to the community in which he grew up in. 

“I am so blessed to have had so many great coaches and mentors over the years. From music, to baseball, church, and Jiu-Jitsu I now want make a positive impact in others by giving back. I realize how important it is to have good role models in life.”

Scott Wright

2nd degree brown belt

Started training 2007

Scott Wright started training in Jiu-jitsu in 2007. He is a 2nd degree brown belt and a senior member of K-team Martial Arts. He has been teaching and coaching kids/adults for the past 10 years and is the lead instructor for the K-team Martial Arts morning programs.

Throughout his years of teaching and coaching, Scott has learned how to modify his instruction so that he is able to effectively teach anyone regardless of age, gender, or skill level. He has helped students reach their fitness and self-defense goals and has also helped coach students to numerous local tournament victories and a few national championships.

"My passion and goal in life is to teach people the proper techniques, the situational awareness, and the CONFIDENCE needed to effectively defend themselves against a bigger stronger opponent."

Vinny Miller

3rd degree brown belt
Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Association
Started training 1998

Vinny Miller started training Jiu-Jitsu directly under Relson Gracie at the age of 12 in 1998. He quickly advanced and began assistant teaching for the younger kids. After winning Gold at Pan-Ams in the 16 and under division, Bronze at Worlds, and becoming a wrestling State Champ in High school, he took a hiatus to complete college and start a family.  

Since returning to the mats in 2007, Vinny has taught wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu throughout Oahu, including his current home, K-Team Kaneohe. He shows his skill in teaching everyone from the 3 year olds, who need creative and patient instruction, to advanced adult classes and people looking to win their next fight.

Whether you’re just starting out and wanting to learn the basics or training hard to compete for World titles, Vinny will work with you to create an individual experience to help you be your best.
